Andrew Mark Folker, a beloved son, brother, and friend, entered this world on October 12, 1986, in Davenport, Iowa. He traversed life with a kindness that touched everyone he met and an empathic spirit that brought joy to those he loved. After graduating from United Township High School, Andrew poured his heart into the craft of landscaping. He owned and operated Green Guys Landscaping Co.

In a world that often feels fast-paced and impersonal, Andrew stood as a testament to the beauty of genuine connection. He enjoyed camping and long walks with his three dogs. He possessed a remarkable talent as a musician, having taught himself to play several instruments and developed a passion for writing music. He found solace in music, which reflected his compassionate nature and creative spirit.

Those who knew him will remember not just his impressive accomplishments but also the simple yet profound joy he brought into their lives. Kind and empathetic, Andrew had a unique ability to make everyone feel valued and loved. His humor was a light that brightened our day. Whether through the soulful melodies he played or the laughter he shared, he made a lasting impact on the hearts and minds of those around him.

Tragically, Andrew departed this life on September 13, 2025, at Mercy One Genesis in Silvis. He left behind a loving family and a network of friends who cherished him deeply. He is survived by his devoted parents, Dan and Lori Folker, who nurtured his passions and instilled in him a strong sense of family values. His siblings—Nathaniel (Katie), Jonathan, Stephen (Elaine), and Kayleigh (Josh)—will carry forward his spirit of camaraderie and support, reminding one another of the joy Andrew spread so freely. The laughter of his beloved nephews and niece—Carter, Lilyan, Levi, and Rory—echoes with memories filled with kindness and adventure, guiding them in moments when they miss him most. In addition, his grandfather, Carl Shipley of Indiana, along with aunts, uncles, and cousins, forms a tapestry of family that Andrew held dear.

Though Andrew's physical presence will be profoundly missed, he is lovingly remembered by those who were fortunate enough to share in his journey. He is preceded in death by his beloved grandmother, Marilyn Shipley, and grandparents Marvin and Jean Folker.

As we reflect on Andrew's life, we find solace in the joy he cultivated, the melody he played, and the love he so freely gave. In this bittersweet moment of farewell, we celebrate the memories of a young man who lived with a heart full of passion and laughter.

Family and friends are encouraged to share memories and express condolences on his memory wall at mvcremation.com.
