Alisha A. Sparling, a beloved mother, grandma, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on August 14, 2025, in Illinois at the age of 42. Born on July 22, 1983, in Florida, Alisha was a beacon of warmth and kindness, known for her big heart and her knack for taking people under her wing.

From an early age, Alisha displayed a spirit of compassion that touched everyone she met. Her inviting personality created a welcoming atmosphere, making those around her feel valued and loved.

Alisha is survived by her cherished son, Collin Sparling (Starrlene); her grandbabies, Haven, Marina, and Edson; her devoted brother, Sean Mason (Ariel); and her loving sisters, Natasha Mason (Chris) and April Mosher (Mark). She also leaves behind her aunts, Lynn Tweedie (Donny) and Kelly Black, as well as her cousins Cody Tweedie, Shane Tweedie, Jackie Black, Lisa Black, and Eric Black, and her loving friend Ryan McGovern, who will forever remember her vibrant spirit and generous heart.

Alisha was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Bonnie Sparling; her father, Rusty Mason; her papa, Jack Sparling; and her nana, Joan Sparling. Though they have departed from this world, their memories remain intertwined with her legacy, and they are undoubtedly welcoming her with open arms.

As we reflect on Alisha's life, we remember her not only for her love and kindness but also for her strength and resilience. She leaves behind a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
